eLocity A7 Android Tablet Non-Market Apps Scanfob® Barcode Reader with Mobile List

In this video we're going to show you how to install Android applications on an eLocity A7 Android Tablet. This tablet doesn't have Android Market by default but that's alright because there are other ways to install Android applications that are real easy. This same installation method works for All Android Phones, Tablets, Personal Media Players (PMP) and other Android devices unless the device has restrictions to prevent loading non-market apps. Now first we're going to install the SerialMagic Gears application from Serialio.com, so you go to Serialio.com on a browser then tap Downloads, then SerialMagic downloads. SerialMagic is available for Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phones, Nokia Phones, and other platforms, scroll down to the Android section and we install SerialMagic Gears and we scroll down to the alternate installation method. Now you see here it tells us to go to Settings and enable Unknown sources on the tablet, if you don't do that on the device then Android won't allow us to install non-market apps by default, so you open Settings and then you open Applications, then enable Unknown sources then tap OK. Now go back to the browser and you can then click on this link, download SerialMagic Gears. Now it's downloaded already you go to the Android Notifications area and you scroll down and you're going to tap on the SerialMagic Gears and install it and then you're done.
